Movie Commentaries That You Can Make Use Of

By Bob Brooks

The movie sites usually have a generous collection of movies that can be downloaded for viewing or even streamed straight to the server. Now and again they also recommend software that will permit you to transfer the download to a DVD so that you can watch the motion picture from your TV.

Faces - Very personal drama in regards to plentiful infidelities is one of the few Cassel movies to become a big hit. Here's a commanding motion picture with awesome action, particularly by Carlin and Cassel. Cast includes John Marley, Gena Rowlands, Lynn Carlin, Seymour Cassel, Fred Draper, and Val Avery. (130 minutes,'68)

Rent-a-Kid - While the head of an orphanage takes a holiday, father Nielsen takes over with a idea to make cash by renting out kids. While predictable, this daft premise is surprisingly successful. Sooner or later 3 kids are rented by a fashionable '90s couple considering adopting. A decent family motion picture. Cast includes Leslie Nielsen, Christopher Lloyd, Matt McCoy, Sherry Miller, and Amos Crawley. (89 minutes,'95)

Onionhead - A confused film with Griffith joining the Coast Guard in pre WW2 and becoming a ships chef. The movie tries to be a comedy, a romance, and a drama at the same time and succeeds at none. Cast includes Andy Griffith, Felicia Farr, Walter Matthau, Erin O'Brien, Joe Mantell, Ray Danton, James Gregory, Joey Bishop, Roscoe Karns, Claude Akins, Peter Brown, and Tige Andrews. (110 minutes,'58)

In Enemy Country - So-so WW2 story, set in France and England, filmed on a back-lot. Not very persuading. Cast includes Tony Franciosa, Anjanette Comer

Darby's Rangers - Garner does well in WW2 action motion picture as leader of attack troops in North Africa and Italy, concentrating on relations amid his platoon and their beach romances. Cast includes James Garner, Etchika Choureau, Jack Warden, Edward Byrnes, Venetia Stevenson, Tarin Thatcher, Peter Brown, Corey Allen, Stuart Whitman, and Murray Hamilton. (121 minutes,'58)

The permissible sites are predictably set up as a membership site. You disburse your membership cost upfront and they proffer you the opportunity to download all of the movies that you want for at no cost. The initial membership payment pays the royalty sum that are owed to the copyright owner. These sites most often use a special software program that adds up the amount owing to the copyright owner.
