The most interesting part is the fact that the amount of vitamin E content in pasture-fed cattle is almost twice as high as in feedlot cattle with vitamin E supplements. The importance of vitamin E in humans is indispensable; it is associated with lower risk in cancer and heart diseases. It may also have anti-aging benefits.

The nature of pasture-fed farming is healthy to the animals. The technique does not employ chemicals and antibiotics to treat the animal. In addition, the livestock are free from abuse and other stress that are associated with the grain-fed technique. They thus remain free from diseases and grow naturally and healthy.

The pasture-fed farms are also relatively environmentally friendly. By using the method, the livestock is uniformly distributed, making good use of the land by distributing manure and grazing uniformly. However, the CAFO method deposit large amounts of waste quite a small amount of space. The manure requires to be collected and dumped, thereby causing ground and water pollution. In addition, pollution is caused by diesel and gasoline-powered equipment employed to farm commercial grains.
