Paint And Wine Parties Denver Co Offers Its Residents

By Tanisha Berg

Being able to artistically express oneself while enjoying time with friends and family is a real opportunity. The paint and wine parties Denver Co has scheduled through various venues throughout the city does just that. It is an excellent way to get creative and socialize with other attendees, friends, co-workers or family members all at the same time.

The entire object of these sessions is for clients to enjoy themselves and learn something at the same time. Socialization is also a large part of this activity. Students, either groups or individuals, can choose from specific nights which have specific projects. They will learn all the rudiments of putting together a work of art from start to finish.

Participants are encouraged to either bring their own wine or alternate beverages but sometimes wine and other drinks can be purchased from the venue. Be sure to find out the rules concerning this before your first event. Often snacks and water are provided to participants to enjoy while they paint and socialize or they can provide their own potluck foods.

Paint, brushes, sponges, and rags will all be provided by the venue. The easels will usually be set up over drop cloths and canvasses propped in place when students arrive. You should be ready to listen to instructions and begin the process shortly after your arrival.

There will be one or more art teachers on hand to guide and direct the attendees through each step of the art process. They will remain close by while students work on their specific projects to offer guidance and answer pertinent questions. They may also make suggestions on how to improve their techniques or mix paint to create more color. Most of the time the entire group will work on creating the same type of painting but some classes can be geared to allow them to work on their own original art.

Children are usually not part of these activities. Usually there is an age limit of 16 or 18 but sometimes it has to be set at 21 because of the alcohol served. Specific programs are often held just for the younger set. This is perfect for summer camp groups, home schooled students, daycare excursions or church youth groups. A play group would really benefit from this type of activity.

Invite all of your artistic or adventurous friends to come with you. This is a fun event for birthdays, a girls' night out, a singles gathering or a bachelorette party. Use it as a company team building exercise or as a special activity for a church group.

Even if you are not artistically inclined or feel that you are not capable of creating anything of value, the guidance provided by the staff and the camaraderie of the other participants will make this a fun and relaxing outlet for your creativity. Bring your masterpiece home and hang it in a place of honor as a reminder of the special event and your great efforts at an artistic endeavor.
