Ideas On How To Engage With Jewish American Organizations

Jews have practices, perspectives and traditions that need to be followed by the community at home or in the Diaspora. They are recorded in the Torah with such inclusions as social justice, continuous learning, repairing the world and charity. This responsibility is overseen by Jewish American organizations through established institutions and responsible individuals. Every Jew has a role to play in ensuring that these goals are realized.

There are hundreds of groups with open membership. They focus on such issues as social welfare, education and social services, with funding to the tune of several million dollars. They bring the community together with a common purpose to create synergy towards guarantee a cohesive society.

The Torah commands Jews to care for humanity. This is the principle that guides the activities of these organizations especially in humanitarian engagements. Jews participate through giving resources and volunteering in person. They are required to act as agents who deliver miracles to other people in the society who are less privileged.

A global planning table helps to bring together partners, donors, professionals and experts with the view of pulling together resources for worldwide distribution. It creates an innovative platform where planning and prioritization is done. A lot of research is done at this level to ensure that all activities have an impact on the welfare of the community at large.

Security is a major concern for the Jewish community worldwide. It requires resources and strategies which are directed at the organizational level. Jews are called upon to actively participate in these endeavors. Expertise is required at this level to study the trends and ensure that the community is prepared and positioned for a better future.

The global community engages in community work targeting the less privileged in the society. This is according to the dictates of Torah. The groups are visible and present at scenes of calamities and disasters like earthquakes and floods. They have been instrumental in assisting famine victims across the world.

Groups focus on enhancing the welfare of all Jews as required in the Torah. A Jew should be close to the family, community and friends. They are taken through education sessions and cultural programs to instill such values. The sessions are grouped depending on gender and age. The aim is to bring up a generation that is responsible and carries on community values.

The dignity and ideas of the Jewish community are best sustained through advocacy. This is a crucial part of community life. Advocacy targets Middle East issues and seeks to bring peace to the area. This role is crucial for the survival of the community and is a responsibility of every individual.

It is of necessity to provide youths at different stages with necessary grounding and feel of real Jewish culture and way of life. These groups are taken to schools, synagogues and communities in Israel where authentic activities are held. They have an experience of their roots and can therefore safeguard the values of this community.

Every individual is tasked with the responsibility of ensuring that the dignity of Jewish life is maintained. Support and participation can either be in person or kind. Every Jew is called to join a group within his vicinity with contacts details and program of activities being provided online.
