There is a wide range of tourist destinations on Rhodes including beautiful villages of both modern and traditional sorts. Every year, these villages attract a large number of people from different ethnic origins of the world.

If we talk about Rhodes traditional villages, a diversity of them can be found throughout the island, whereas, the modern villages are not in abundance here.

Most of the villages on Rhodes Island are beautiful and are housed in hilly areas.

Consequently, a variety of tourists are being attracted by them every year during summers. Rhodes Island has a strong tourism industry and most of its hotels are located close to its medieval villages.

The Village of Kremasti This village portrays a true picture of the traditional Greek life along with its facilities of a modern tourist resort. Tourists visit this village because of its long and beautiful sandy beach and the nearby Valley of the Butterflies.

Lindos Village Rhodes also carries another outstanding village named Lindos. It is situated about 48 km in the south of Rhodes Town. Tourists find this place ideal for spending Rhodes holidays due to its attractiveness and traditional lifestyle . The amazing town of Lindos is established in the surrounding of a huge rock that contains a castle on it. You’ll find this place perfect for enjoying numerous beautiful views.

Afandou The village of Afandou is located at a distance of 19 km from the south of Rhodes Town. Normally, it is off the road. It offers a customary way of living that has been kept alive for over centuries.

The Village of Archangelos Archangelos village is one of the beautiful villages of Rhodes. It is situated 28 km in the southern part of Rhodes Town. This beautiful village is housed beside a valley. I have been to Rhodes twice and must say you have very well described the villages part i like it alot...undoubtedly Rhodes is a small place with a big heart! A fascinating, thoroughly modern and very cosmopolitan place that is laden with events, activities, exciting nightlife, tours, historic landmarks, and views that take your breath away
