As you may already know there are so many different options for you to choose from when it comes to going on vacation that it's a hard choice to make.
Sporting vacations are very popular at the moment. These are for the thrill seekers. On a sports vacation you can do things such as sky diving, rock climbing or even less scary things such as cycling.
Some people like to travel all around the world on a cruise. As you know going on a cruise means travelling around on a big ship. his is not a good holiday if you get sea sick but they can be very relaxing and it's fun going from island to island and exploring.
Lots of people like to go on educational holidays too. For example Rome is a good place to go because it's full of history and there's lots to learn. These types of holidays aren't always that relaxing because there's a lot of walking involved.
Opposite to the educational holidays are the holidays where you just sit on the beach the whole time enjoying the sun. Many people would consider this very boring and a bit of a waste but a lot of people find it nice and relaxing when they've got some time off work.
But because many people aren't getting paid as much due to the economy they're opting to not go abroad but to go camping instead. Camping can be great if you like the outdoors but if you can't live without a shower and tv etc for a week or so then don't go camping. But other than that it's nice to go camping and enjoy the fresh air.
So these are the types of holidays you could choose from.
