Movie Downloading Makes Renting Movies Even Easier

By Donna Rivas

We can all remember the days of waiting with great anticipation for new films to come out. People were excited each time that the trailers were shown on television. They would wait in line for as long as it took to get a chance to be one of the first to see the next major blockbuster. The wait was always considered to be worth it, and people would brave obnoxious movie goers, sticky seats, and other annoyances just to enjoy their film. With the advent of movie downloads, the requisites to enjoy your films have changed.

Gone are the days where you have to wait and pay a ridiculous amount to sit behind someone's noisy children, while the couple behind you has to continuously explain the plot to one another. Nor do you have to share your armrest with the overly aggressive patron beside you. You can just sit and enjoy at home, and often get access to movies as soon as they are released.

Even if you consider yourself the more patient type who prefers to wait for rental, it is far more convenient to download your films. It is quite aggravating to make the trip to the movie store, endure the lines, and flag down the clerk, only to find that the film that you drove there for has been snatched up. Even worse are the times when you rent a DVD only to find that it is so scratched up from previous users that you cannot watch the film in its entirety.

Home theater systems have evolved to the point where you can authentically have the experience of going to the theater without all of the annoyances. There are new types of speakers, high resolution televisions, and screens that can fill up the whole wall. Also, only people that you invite over will be there!

Choosing your group can make certain films perfect. Comedies are an especially good example. It is great to be home with a your favorite friends, enjoying a nice meal and getting to laugh at something you know you all will enjoy. That is a great experience.

On the other side, there is not much that is scarier than watching a horror flick by yourself. It is so intense to turn off all the lights and watch a scary film completely alone in the dark. It enhances the experience much more than if you are sharing the film with a theater audience.

Also, it is quite satisfying to get to save so much money. As mentioned earlier, the costs of theater experiences are atrocious these days. It is tough to enjoy yourself when you have spent at least ten dollars for your ticket and more than that for your popcorn and soda.

Overall, the convenience, flexibility, and fun factors all point to downloading your films and watching them at home (or on the go for that matter). We have come to the age where we can access almost any information instantaneously, and that is a good thing.
